ABU DHABI, 9th December, 2022 (WAM) — The 4th International Congress on Ambulatory Healthcare Abu Dhabi kicked off at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center on Friday, 9th December and will run until 11th December. The international conference focuses on primary care and is organized by Ambulatory Healthcare Services, the medical arm of SEHA.
The conference is in line with ongoing efforts to establish Abu Dhabi as a leading healthcare destination and a platform to bring together specialists and specialists from around the world to improve the quality and outcomes of healthcare delivery in the emirate and beyond.
The conference attracted about 300 researchers and experts from home and abroad in the fields of family medicine and primary care.
Supported by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, the Congress consists of 12 multi-specialty tracks including Family Medicine, Rural Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Radiology, Allied Health, Home Nursing, Community and School Health, Patient Centered Medical Home , medical education, and health information and technology. The Congress has earned 98 DOH-approved continuing medical education hours.
Commenting on the occasion, Dr Noura Al Ghaithi, Chief Executive Officer of Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) and Conference Chair, said: “We believe that primary care is the foundation of any healthcare system.
