ASHGABAD, 21st June, 2023 (WAM) — Ahmed Hamli, UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, met a delegation led by Al Nakhira Al Khaili, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Cycling Club.
The delegation visited a number of sports facilities in the Olympic Village, including closed bicycle tracks, athletes rehabilitation medical center, various museums, horse breeding center, etc. The program also includes bicycle tours attended by the UAE delegation.
In this regard, Hamli emphasized that the visit reflects the desire to strengthen sports cooperation between the two parties, noting that the invitation issued by the Cycling Federation of Turkmenistan to the Abu Dhabi Cycling Club has strengthened the ties between the two parties and provided the opportunity to invest in this cooperation. Khalili emphasized that the two sides should strengthen cooperation in the fields of sports and cycling through mutual visits, organizing camps, and holding joint sports events.
