[ad_1]

A legacy as a unique cultural landmark, Qasr Al Watan, in partnership with the Arabic Language Center affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, hosted a group of Emirati citizens as part of the ‘Generation Journey’ programme.

As visitors pass through Qasr Al Watan’s solid maple doors, they begin their journey from the heart of the palace, the Great Hall. Led by a designated guide, visitors travel through the various areas of Qasr Al Watan and have the opportunity to explore a wealth of rare manuscripts, offering a glimpse into the UAE’s past, present and future.

As part of the tour, visitors are introduced to special areas within the palace designated for Federal Supreme Council meetings and summits, and the Presidential Gifts Area, a secure space that meticulously preserves extraordinary diplomatic gifts from foreign dignitaries.

Guests also had the opportunity to visit the Qasr Al Watan Library, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. They were able to browse the latest books and publications, as well as visit the Sheikh Zayed Book Award exhibition, which showcases past winning titles. In addition, they visited the Rare Book Exhibition, which houses a collection of manuscripts and acquired rare books. They are also familiar with all office and electronic services made available to the public through modern means and technology.

At the end of the tour, visitors understand how history and modernity are harmoniously integrated to form a palace that embodies the essence of the nation and becomes a timeless cultural landmark.

Qasr Al Watan is truly a refined experience like no other, something for all ages to explore again and again. With its architectural marvels, artistic marvels and historical heritage, visiting Qasr Al Watan is never enough.
