Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, will start increasing the frequency of flights from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok in March this year.
From March 26, 2023, the frequency of the Abu Dhabi-Bangkok route will be doubled, with two flights per day, providing a total of 14 direct flights to Bangkok Airport (BKK) per week.
These flights will offer business class and economy class. The schedule of these flights is as follows:

Arik De, Chief Revenue Officer, Etihad Airways, said: “Our second Bangkok flight is conveniently departing from Abu Dhabi, optimizing timing for UAE residents who wish to take a break in Thailand. In addition, the return flight from Bangkok Allowing Thai residents to arrive in Abu Dhabi in the morning and be the first to discover what the city has to offer.”
Etihad also announced that it will add services to another Asian city, Shanghai, next month. Beginning in February 2023, The airline will add a weekly flight from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai. Therefore, it will fly to Pudong International Airport (PVG) twice a week using its Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft.
The airline will also reintroduce four of the A380s in its fleet from summer 2023 as frequencies increase on many routes. The return of the A380 will also be supported by its five smaller A320 siblings.
