A gift for his adopted hometown
Shahid is the principal of the Karachi Arts Council College of Arts and Crafts and an internationally renowned artist. He is full of praise for the wisdom and vision of the UAE.
“I created a portrait of Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group,” Rasham revealed. “I also painted portraits of members of the royal family of Abu Dhabi.
Islam’s global footprint
The Quran is the sacred text of Islam, and its followers account for one-fifth of the world’s more than 7 billion people.
Muslims believe that the Bible was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad by the angel Gabriel in Mecca and Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 610 and 632 AD.
Lasting legacy
Shahid hopes that his loving work will stand the test of time. Compared with the traditional methods of paper, cloth and animal skins, the “Quran” has been engraved on a high-quality canvas with aluminum and gilded letters.
This talented artist believes that his work emulates the work of the late Pakistani calligrapher and painter Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi (Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi), who is often referred to as It is Sadequain Naqqash (Sadequain Naqqash).

face the challenge
Creative challenges never bother Rassam. “I like to accept challenges. I made a plan and started this project five years ago,” he said.
“My work combines canvas, metal and color, which will surprise all visitors to Expo 2020,” he added.
Excellent professional
Shahid is a selfless professional. He is unwilling to win any honor for this brilliant idea. It is time for the whole world to admire him. He was full of praise for his friend Irfan Mustafa, and he planted this novel idea in his mind.
“Irfan persuaded me to share some of my work at Expo 2020 to ensure that it is recognized by more than 200 exhibitors and visitors from all over the world,” he said.
“He did his best to help me achieve the challenging task and joined the project voluntarily, just for his love for the Quran, art and me,” he signed.
