Fake Global Village Season 31 Websites: Dubai Police Warns Residents
Dubai Police has warned residents about fake websites and social media accounts offering fraudulent deals linked to Global Village Season 31.
The warning comes ahead of the new season of the popular Dubai attraction, as scammers are attempting to use public interest in tickets and VIP packages to steal money and personal information.
Police said fraudsters can create websites and social media accounts that closely resemble official platforms, making it difficult for users to identify fake offers.
Authorities urged residents to be particularly careful with deals that appear unusually cheap or too good to be true. People should check the source of an offer before clicking links, entering personal information or making payments.
Global Village Season 31 is scheduled to open on October 14, 2026, and will run until May 2027. The attraction has also announced its VIP Pack sales schedule, with pre-orders set to run from September 21 to 25 and general sales beginning on September 26.
Dubai Police advised residents to purchase Global Village tickets and packages only through official and authorised channels. Users should also avoid unfamiliar social media accounts or links claiming to provide special discounts.
Anyone who comes across a suspicious website, social media account or fraudulent link can report it through the Dubai Police eCrime platform or by calling 901.
The warning comes as interest in the upcoming season increases. Global Village has confirmed that Season 31 will bring back its popular mix of cultural pavilions, entertainment, shopping, dining and family attractions.
Residents planning to visit are therefore advised to verify ticket information carefully and avoid making payments through unverified platforms.
