Harry Styles needs to live in Las Vegas.
The hit ‘As It Was’ producer is looking to do a series of shows at new Sin City venue The MSG Sphere, with a fee of up to £40m.
Harry is currently working on his Love on Tour, which will keep him busy until July, but he hopes to play a series of shows at the £1.6bn venue in 2024.
It has been confirmed that U2 will open its 17,500-capacity venue this fall.
A source told The Sun in Sunday’s paper: “The Sphere will be the largest and most expensive venue ever built in Las Vegas.
“The team behind the project wanted it to be a success, so they brought together several big names in the opening weeks.
“U2 is one of them, but Harry is also seen as the best booking to attract viewers.
“He has one of the biggest tours of 2022, can easily fill the arena and appeal to fans of all ages.
“He’s going to be seen as the major coup d’état that made The Sphere the hottest spot in Las Vegas.”
The former One Direction singer’s management team has already invested in the venue, the insider added.
“The investment in the venue by his management team was also a key factor,” it said.
Harry will also perform at next month’s Brit Awards, joined by Sam Smith, Stormzy and Wet Leg.
The 28-year-old star is tied with Wet Legs for the most nominations at this year’s awards show.
His four nominations include British Album of the Year for “Harry’s House” and Song of the Year for “As It Was”.
