Healthians announce plans to enter UAE and Bangladesh markets

Healthians announced its entry into the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh on Tuesday. The company also announced plans to hire a team of 200 people in each country to keep its operations and services up and running by the third quarter of fiscal 2022.

The company has been studying the markets in both countries since 2019 and realized that the Covid-19 pandemic has opened up new avenues for disrupting these markets. Pioneering the concept of home health testing, Healthians plans to bring innovation to both markets through a wholly-owned setup similar to what it offers in India, the company said on Tuesday.

“The past few years have highlighted the importance of health in our lives, while also exposing disparities in health systems and diagnostic facilities around the world. We have seen many countries develop regulations to prioritize home care and remote at affordable prices. Medical expenses. With the right vision, strong technology, lean operations and effective communication, Healthians can make the world a healthier place,” Healthians founder and CEO Deepak Sahni said in a statement.

With its forays into the UAE and Bangladesh, Healthians will be one of the few companies in the diagnostics space to go global, the diagnostics report said.

Healthians’ strong technology, healthcare innovation and founders’ previous experience in medical value travel in these markets will be favorable levers for Healthians’ success outside India. The company claims that Healthy People will be at the forefront of launching home care and telehealth in new markets.

Initially, Healthians intends to operate in these two markets with minimal investment, and plans to do so at a profit, according to the company’s press statement.
