Learn more about him and his company through our interview below.

What’s the idea behind your company?

Keko Dubai has been in the business of solving problems and bringing brands to their audiences through our expertise in digital, social, and traditional forms of communication since 2019. We are established yet young as part of an independent global network of creative minds with sister agencies in Frankfurt, London, Singapore, and Washington, DC. We have won awards and recognition on the biggest world stages for our social media, experiential, post-production, and visual effects work, but we are just getting started. We are your sparring partners, get in the ring with us and see what’s possible from a creative and operational perspective. We aim to become a communication consultancy that brands can count on to leverage themselves effectively.

How did you begin your career journey? Do you have some advice for beginners?

“I started my career as an engineer, working in a factory in Germany. There, I learned the importance of attention to detail in making sure that the overall product or idea works. After that, I moved to Porsche, a German sports car manufacturer, where I worked as the Marketing Director. This allowed me to explore the corporate side of the business, gaining valuable insights into the importance of structure, processes, and procedures.

Finally, I ventured into the agency business, where I learned to become an entrepreneur, enjoying the freedom of an independent company, and learning the challenges of running one’s own business. So, I have tried different things and discovered myself. My advice for starting out would be just that: try as many things as possible but with a clear path in mind of where you want to be in 10 years.

What’s the goal of your company?

Expand the business in the UAE and other markets within the region.

How important are employees’ energy levels to the success of your company?

Energy is everything. And I believe the most important is the team leader’s energy toward the entire team.

How Patrick Pesch plan to motivate his team to go the extra mile?

Keko Team
                                                                           Keko Team

Passion is the best motivation. And the passion comes from understanding and involvement. I hope to share my knowledge, experience, and passion with the team and, in turn, move them to harness their strengths and go the extra mile.

What keeps your company moving forward even during challenges?

Staying focused and looking on the bright side. We’re a tight-knit team, and we know what it takes to do things well and do it together.

How do you think technology is leading to changes in businesses? Do you feel it’s helping your company grow?

Technology is a facilitator. It’s how we create work that’s next level for our clients. However, in the end, I believe we are in the people business. Clients are won, and people fulfill projects. Having the right people in place is key to growing the business.

How is your company adapting to digitalization?

We’re a young agency actively exploring how digitalization can improve our efficiency and efficacy and, thereby, the services we offer our clients. With the onset of the pandemic, we’ve seen several changes in the creative landscape, and we’re leaning more and more toward the opportunities it can open for us.

What are the services/solutions or products offered by your company as par with the current industry standards? Tell us something about your upcoming products or services.

In a world increasingly involved in digital communications, we are blurring the lines between reality and virtual reality. It’s all in the works, but we have some exciting projects on the way. If you’re looking for that business edge, come over to D3 for a coffee, and let’s talk.
