TikTok users love the viral teen filter on TikTok, which shows you what it was like as a teenager. Here’s everything you need to know about how to try the effect yourself.

One of the latest features to launch on the platform is the “Teen Filter” which has taken over the For You page application.
The filter claims to make you look like a teenager, allowing you to compare yourself to who you really are right now.

In terms of accuracy, users have received mixed results from the filter, but regardless, many people are happy to try and upload their videos to the platform. If you want to try it yourself, here’s how.
How to Get Teen Filters on TikTok

If a filter is available in your location, you can get it with:
- Open Tik Tok.
- click plus icon Turn on the camera.
- In the lower left corner, click the “Effect.”
- Click on the magnifying glass to search “You look like a boy.”
- click filter Same name to apply it.
If filters don’t appear when you search, your Also try applying the effect over another video.

Click the magnifying glass on the For You page to search for “Teenage Look” and use the filters to select a video. Click the sound button in the lower right corner, then click Use this sound. If the filter is available in your location, it should be applied automatically.
