How to travel from the UAE to the UK without hotel quarantine

[ad_1]

If you plan to visit the UK to visit family and friends or enjoy a vacation, be sure to understand the current travel restrictions. Unfortunately, for now, this means quarantining travelers from the United Arab Emirates.

However, there are several ways to adjust your travel plan to avoid being quarantined for 10 days in a quarantined hotel. Please continue reading below to find out what you must do to enter the UK this summer and how you do not need to be isolated on arrival

What are the UK quarantine and travel regulations for UAE residents?

As before the pandemic, you need to have a valid passport and UAE UK visa Citizens enter the UK. When you arrive, your passport should also be valid for at least 6 months.

However, as of this writing, the UAE is already on the COVID-19 red list in the UK. This means that if you fly directly from 7 Emirates, you must undergo a 10-day hotel quarantine. Even if you have been fully vaccinated, the quarantine must be paid for at your own expense.

In addition, for these COVID requirements, you also need to provide:

  • The PCR test result not more than 72 hours before arrival was negative.
  • Proof of quarantine hotel reservation.
  • One complete Passenger location table.

These must be prepared when you pass the British border.

You will also need to perform 2 more mandatory PCR tests on the 2nd and 8th day after arrival. If both are negative, you will be able to leave the quarantine area after 10 days.

How to avoid hotel isolation in the UK?

Hotel isolation is an expensive and isolated experience, and most travelers from the UAE naturally want to avoid it. Fortunately, there are ways to bypass this requirement in some cases.

One of the easiest ways to avoid isolation while traveling is to spend some time in the countries listed in green before arriving in the UK. Green list countries have the least restrictions on travelers, allowing you to enter the UK and Northern Ireland without having to isolate for 10 days.

There are several places in Europe that travelers can visit before entering the UK to enjoy the benefits of the green list. Many of these destinations allow fully vaccinated travelers to arrive from the UAE without any quarantine requirements.

Some green-listed countries you can visit to avoid being quarantined while traveling in the UK:

  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Iceland
  • Malta

However, you need to stay in the country/region of your choice for a stopover for at least 10 days to be eligible. Before you travel to the UK, it is also important to check whether the listed countries are still on the green list.

Travel rules in the United Kingdom are updated every 3 weeks, and countries/regions are usually moved to other categories.be sure Checklist Get the latest information regularly before you go.
