Hollywood A-lister Idris Elba will headline Elrow XXL, the global electronic music festival and house festival in Dubai on Friday 17th February.
Elba is best known as an Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor with several major film and television credits, a popular DJ and a regular at some of the biggest music venues in the world.
Elrow XXL will be held at D3 – Dubai Design District – with a capacity of over 10,000 people. A highlight of the show will be the intricate and colorful El Traingulo de las Rowmudas stage. The purpose-built stage is expected to be the fitting stage for the multi-talented Elba, an accomplished musician, songwriter, producer, actor and director, as well as one of the world’s best-known DJs. He plays annually at the world’s biggest music events including Coachella, Sound in LA and Output in New York, UK stages including Ministry of Sound, Creamfields and Glastonbury, plus a Guta residency in Hi Ibiza with electronic music maestro David.
Greeting fans in the city, Idris said: “I love Dubai. I love playing Elrow’s shows. I’m so looking forward to this! Besides Elba, the festival has a long list of sought-after DJs and entertainers who will be Performing over two days of the festival, including Armand Van Helden, Sam Devine, Sonny Fodera, Alisha, Arielle Free, R3WIRE, Wade and Chelina Manuhutu .
Elrow XXL, the non-stop outdoor carnival that will be held on February 17-18, is coming to Dubai for the first time.
