Explain the background of you and the company in detail.

We consult, train, and coach organizations and individuals in the art of luxury service, luxury service standards, soft skills and create extreme value for a luxury lifestyle and consumer brands across industries from products to services, from market leaders to startups, worldwide.

The idea of creating a consulting company had first occurred to ILC’s founder, Ms. Inessa Pshenichnaya, now the company’s president, in 2007. ILC operated successfully in Ukraine, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, and France for 15 years before the company’s leaders decided to expand into Central Asia.

In 2020, in cooperation with Ms. Elmira Sadibekova, a managing partner, ILC had branched to operate in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan with a base in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Our consultancy projects enabled us to work with the most well-known luxury brands in the world.

What are your goals?

ILC is a unique company that focuses on providing exclusive approaches to the strategy-making of our client businesses in premium and luxury segments.

Our main goal is to develop the company in the markets of the Gulf countries, as wealthy clients in the Middle East are becoming more demanding, and our projects provide a competitive advantage and superiority for companies in the premium and luxury segments.

What do you feel is the biggest strength of yourself/company right now?

One of ILC’s core ethos is to provide its clients with an in-depth look at every detail of customer interactions in the premium and luxury segments and seek improvements to increase perceived brand value. Thus, ILC focuses on providing unique skills and solutions in line with the dreams of wealthy clients using innovative approaches.

What was the path you/your company took to get to where you are today?

Both heads of ILС, company president Ms. Pshenichnaya and managing partner Ms. Sadibekova are constantly searching for the best solutions, researching the lifestyle and behavior of wealthy clients around the world, and learning from the world’s best professors from French business schools. Our main ambition is to become the world’s leading consultancy business in the luxury sector.

Why did you start (or want to be the head of) this company?

Inessa Pshenichnaya was inspired to lead ILC in many ways by her previous experience of cooperation with a plethora of companies that care about the high quality of service and communication with their customers and her love for art, jewelry, and fashion.

A new view of the role of employees in companies in the luxury sector, which has become a new standard in the industry, and the desire to help companies create iconic moments made her start this company. Furthermore, she wanted to develop deep emotional relationships with wealthy clients and it became the center of gravity, encouraging her to create and run the company.

Inessa Pshenichnaya ,What have been the biggest challenges you’ve had to overcome?

It was an exciting experience that led the ILC to expand its activities and look for new opportunities, but it was worthwhile.

What do you value most about your culture and vision?

The never-ending pursuit of excellence and dedication to high performance, cross-cultural interaction, the ability to create unique solutions at the intersection of service, marketing, psychology, management, and etiquette is what we value.

Inessa Pshenichnaya ,Tell us about a project that forced you to be innovative and creative.

There is a project for Italdizain Group Azerbaijan, the largest retail player in the luxury segment, representing the leading brands of jewelry, household goods, furniture, sanitary ware, and watches for 23 years. Also, one of our inspirational projects is a project for Galerie Andakulova (Dubai).

What are your company’s strategies, and how do they stand unique from your competitors?

Our company does not have competitors in the traditional sense. We are distinguished by deep expertise in the luxury market, ethics, and aesthetics of luxury brands. Furthermore, we have detailed knowledge of the behavior of wealthy clients, future trends, neuromarketing, art history, and contemporary art. These points allow us to make each of our projects unique and particularly effective for our customers.

What are the key values that helped you overcome the roadblocks/challenges in your career? Tell us something about your memorable incident in your leadership?

The key value of  Ms. Pshenichnaya is a total commitment to the result and exceeding the expected. There are a lot of memorable cases; they are united by a belief of our team that the next peak will be even more impressive.

How do you see the company changing in two years, and how do you see yourself creating that change?

In the close proximity of two years, ILC aims to expand even further into various other countries to discover new clients and enter new markets. To achieve that, we, at ILC, are making sure to continue innovating the consulting market through finding new ways of sharing our values and experiences, learning from new cultures, and are consistently improving to stay open to new worlds and opportunities.

Where is your leadership going? What benefits do your clients get from your company in this competitive world?

The main advantage is the depth of our consultations and decisions, the strategic nature of each action that we recommend to the client, and the legitimacy of our client’s brands in the luxury segment. Our strategy is to create solutions for our clients that enable them to lead the global future.

What services/solutions or products are offered by your company at par with the current industry standards? Tell us something about your upcoming products or services?

The customer service standards that we develop for various markets in the luxury industry, from the hotel sector, restaurants, boutiques, clinics, galleries to private banking, exceed industry standards and can be proudly noted as new industry standards. We have changed the view of the role of managers and employees in the industry and have developed competency models that allow you to create a unique customer experience.
