JLL, a leading professional services firm specializing in real estate, investment management and development advisory services, has opened a new multi-purpose office designed with the principles of the workplace of the future.
Located in the heart of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), the new office was built to the highest standards of sustainability, prioritizing employee wellbeing and productivity, and fully catering to the needs of a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
The move to the 10,000 sq. ft. office was marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by prominent dignitaries; led by JLL CEO and President Christian Ulbrich; Middle East, Africa and Turkey CEO Thierry Delvaux and other employees.
The opening ceremony was also attended by DIFC Governor Essa Kazim and DIFC Authority CEO Arif Amiri, who formally welcomed JLL to DIFC.
Following the inauguration, dignitaries were toured the office and briefed on how the integration of biophilic elements and green features can enhance functionality and positively impact health and well-being in the transition to the future of work.
A future-proof, green and sustainable workplace brings JLL closer to achieving its own sustainability goals and is in line with the UAE’s ambitious 2050 net zero initiative and decarbonisation plan, Ulbrich said.

The new office optimizes the use of natural resources, achieving 17% energy savings. Biophilic design that creates a connection with nature provides high-quality interiors and minimizes negative environmental and human health impacts for employees.
Following the industry-leading health-focused building benchmark, the WELL Building Standard, JLL also integrates best practices in design and construction with evidence-based wellness interventions.
