Jordanian Woman Killed for Rejecting Proposal; Body Search On

Jordan Continues Search for Murdered Woman’s Body in Amman Authorities in Jordan are still hunting for the body of a murdered woman reportedly disposed of in an Amman   dumpster. A confession from a man on September 19 revealed he killed her during an argument and discarded her remains in a garbage bin.

Despite exhaustive efforts by specialized law enforcement teams, the victim’s body remains elusive. Officials scoured dumpsters and examined waste vehicles, yielding no results. The suspect initially confessed to strangling the woman during a heated dispute over her education and her refusal to marry him, according to Jordan Times.

The ongoing investigation includes cooperation with the woman’s family, who reported her disappearance on September 19. The suspect faces premeditated charges and a 15-day detention while investigations continue.

Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi previously reported the woman’s murder without specifying search locations.
