Julia Roberts “loves” being a mom.
The 54-year-old actress has made family life a priority in recent years, but she finally ended her four-year film hiatus with George Clooney in “Tickets to Heaven.”
Julia – who has twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 17, and Henry, 15, and her husband Daniel Maud – shared: “I just let it go.
“I try to be super real, I don’t plan, and I don’t have any upcoming acting jobs. It feels really good to be back in my day-to-day life. I love being at home and I love being a mom.”
Julia, who shot the film in Australia, admits the country’s COVID-19 regulations are proving to be a real challenge for the cast and crew.
However, the Hollywood star appreciates having someone like George on set.
She told the New York Times: “In Australia [to film] It’s been really challenging because of all the COVID regulations, and I think it’s a real testament to the friendship and the creative environment we’re in because it’s not that hard because I’m not alone anymore. It’s just not in my cellular data. “
Julia also enjoys spending time in Australia with George’s wife Amal and their 5-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.
She said: “The Clooneys saved me from total loneliness and despair. We were in a bubble and this was the longest I’ve been away from my family. I think since I was 25.”
Meanwhile, Julia recently insisted she would never be able to act on set.
When asked if she could keep the character between takes, Julia replied: “No way. Are you kidding? Too much. You have to put the bag down.
“I mean, I admire people who do that. It looks exhausting to me, and I’m secretly thinking, ‘Oh, I wish I could do it. I wish I could be that nervous.’ I just joke.”
