Kaz has now posted a video on her Instagram of the ordeal. In the video, Kaz explained that she was on a flight to Thailand and “didn’t think about a connection in Abu Dhabi,” and identified herself in a leaked 2020 video.

She said: “In 2020, I was in Dubai and I was filmed. It was me in the video and no one forced me to do it. The things I do and the people around me.

“A year later it was leaked and then recently I was on my way to Thailand and I had a great job offer and didn’t consider a transit in Abu Dhabi. I didn’t expect that and then I was detained in Abu Dhabi and Detained from Monday to Friday, which is when they released me.

“I’m very accepting of the situation and I’m ready for whatever is going to happen. Ultimately, I take full responsibility and I’m not lying, saying it’s me in the video and explaining that it was a long time ago .”

Katz went on to say that the video was not taken by a friend, but by someone with whom she has a personal relationship. The former Love Island star was quick to dismiss speculation that it was Theo, saying: “It’s not Theo! We’re friends now and just filmed a show together, please stop calling him abusive. This is my secret Relationship.”

Some of Kaz’s friends expressed their support for her in the comments section of her Instagram post. Zara McDermott, who starred in Love Island on the same season as Kaz, commented: “There isn’t a single adult on this planet who hasn’t made a mistake; yet people judge so quickly, it’s something I’ll never forget.” Things beyond comprehension. One mistake does not define you, but the value you add to the world, and a lot!”

Anna Vakili, who starred in the fifth season of Love Island, also commented and wrote: “When I first left the villa, you were the first person to send me messages of kindness and support You are one of the kindest and most genuine girls I have met in this business. Stay strong, you are unique.”
