Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed visits the 16th IDEX 2023


Hi.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX), which brings together people from all over the world Defense industry leaders and experts to build partnerships and showcase the latest innovations in the field.

Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the 16th edition of IDEX will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) on 24 February.

During his visit, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed visited the pavilions of a number of Emirati companies – a 17% increase in the number of companies compared to the previous IDEX to reach 41 at the 2023 edition Exhibiting companies – including Edge Group, where he reviewed advanced solutions to enhance reconnaissance, logistical operations and a range of military operations.

Sheikh Khalid also visited the Tawazun Council Pavilion, where he was briefed on the latest solutions and initiatives that strengthen the UAE’s Defense and Security Sector. In addition, he listened to experts introducing advanced sea, land and air defense products in the pavilion of leading international security companies.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed was joined by Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) He was accompanied by Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Group Chief Executive Officer.

IDEX attracts companies from all over the world to showcase products and services in the defense sector and showcase home-grown innovations that rival international offerings in terms of quality, design and performance.
