Khalifa Fund backs two UAE businesses on ‘Make it in the Emirates Forum’

In this regard, Al Mazrouei said: “The launch of SMIP and the establishment of the Smart Manufacturing Competence Center in Abu Dhabi marks an important step on our path towards the field of smart manufacturing.

“By converting 30% of existing industrial SMEs to an Industry 4.0 approach over the next five years, we are increasing productivity, boosting technology adoption and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s global competitiveness”. The Smart Manufacturing Incentive Program will drive growth and innovation in our local industry and contribute to the overall economic diversification of our emirate. Additionally, the establishment of the region’s first Smart Manufacturing Competence Center reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading hub for Industry 4.0. These pioneering initiatives complement Abu Dhabi’s efforts to shape a diverse, smart and sustainable economy that will thrive in the age of Industry 4.0. “
