Khloe Kardashian Wants Ex-Employee’s Lawsuit Dismissed Entertainment

[ad_1]

Khloe Kardashian wants the court to dismiss her former domestic assistant’s lawsuit.

Earlier this year, Matthew Manhard took legal action against the Good American founder, claiming he was fired for injuries and not being paid proper overtime or meal breaks, while the 39-year-old real The Show star and her company, KhloMoney, have now responded to the case, insisting she did nothing wrong.

according to Radar Online SiteKohler maintained that she acted in good faith and that she acted “for legitimate and non-discriminatory reasons and/or for commercial necessity.”

She added: “Any improper, unlawful and/or discriminatory conduct or statement by any agent, servant or employee of Defendant is contrary to and contrary to Defendant’s policy and has never been authorized by Defendant, actual or apparent, and if taken This conduct was carried out without his knowledge and was never approved, consented or sanctioned.”

The reality star asked her former employee to pay her attorney’s fees, but got nothing from his complaint.

Matthew claims in the lawsuit that he worked more than 12 hours a day and more than 40 hours a week during his employment with Kohler from January 2019 to November last year. In May 2022, he took time off for surgery and said he believed Khloe believed him to be disabled after learning about it.

The former assistant tried to return to work in November, but was told there were “no jobs” for him at Kohler’s firm, and his contract was terminated days later.

Matthew alleges that the “Kardashian” star caused him to lose his salary and other employment benefits, and that his firing caused damage to his reputation, as well as anxiety, distress and emotional distress.

Representatives for Kohler previously called the lawsuit “frivolous.”

The spokesman said: “It is unfortunate to hear that a former employee would choose to go down this path. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role.

“Towards the end of his term, he took an extended leave of absence and will eventually need to replace the position. We will not tolerate false allegations and will prove to be a frivolous lawsuit.”
