Krews and ADEC to digitize entertainment experience in Abu Dhabi

[ad_1]

Hub71 startup Krews has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Abu Dhabi Entertainment Corporation (ADEC) to digitize operations at Zayed Sports City and Active Al Maryah through its integration platform, QPortal.

In a statement, Krews said the agreement will provide a significant boost to Abu Dhabi’s sports and entertainment industry by bringing numerous benefits to customers and venues, streamlining events, improving customer booking processes and increasing operational efficiency.

Founded by Emirati brothers Ahmed and Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Krews’ QPortal is transforming the sports and entertainment industry by providing venues with a broad range of enterprise solutions, enabling them to efficiently create, manage, monitor and analyze operations at a fraction of the cost.

By connecting assets across the operating ecosystem and streamlining activities, the portal can enhance customers’ booking journey with speed and agility, it said.

Since implementing Krews’ technology solutions earlier this year, ADEC has processed more than 17,000 venue bookings across all sales channels, including website, mobile app and telesales, including Zayed Sports City and all of Active’s sports facilities.

Built in-house by a team of local experts, turnkey systems enable a seamless customer journey and help entities optimize operations to unlock revenue opportunities and increase sales. The portal provides a fully automated and flexible process, enabling venue operators to easily manage and update systems.

It said the partnership strengthens Krews’ mission to disrupt and accelerate the digital transformation of Abu Dhabi’s sports and entertainment industry and make impactful change in the region.

Ahmed Alqubaisi, Founder and CEO, Krews said: “One of the greatest benefits of digitizing stadiums is seamless and real-time booking. Previously, customers had to go through a traditional inquiry process and wait for their booking to be confirmed, generating a loss of revenue for the institution and customer dissatisfaction.”

“Krews identified this gap in the market and since then we have been on a mission to revolutionize the sports and entertainment industry across the value chain. By making it easy for users to plan, organize and book social and sporting events, and By achieving world-class venues like Abu Dhabi, and optimizing their operations, we are contributing to a healthier and more active society,” he added.

Khalid Al Mutawa, acting chief executive officer of ADEC, said QPortal has consolidated these into one platform, thus enabling the capture of more robust data with less effort.

“We are delighted to work with locally established businesses and have developed a strong relationship with Ahmed and his team. They have flexibly ensured that the system meets the complex and varied needs of our business and is responsive to our requirements,” he famously said.

Krews joined the Hub71 community in 2019 and benefits from a strong network of government entities, corporates, investors and leading industry partners to unlock access to capital, market opportunities and talent.

Earlier this year, Krews also launched its one-of-a-kind app to provide users with an interactive experience where like-minded people with similar interests can connect with each other, book sports venues and pay with one click.-TradeArabia News Service
