Madinat Jumeirah Announces Key Appointments

Madinat Jumeirah, the luxury resort by Jumeirah Group, which stretches 2 kilometers of pristine private beachfront along Dubai’s picturesque waterways, has announced the appointment of two hotel managers.

The new appointments will support the General Managers of each hotel with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and delivering on the Group’s brand promise of ‘Being Different’.

Igor Apraiz is the Hotel Manager of Jumeirah Al Naseem, a stylish and modern beachfront resort within Madinat Jumeirah, home to Dubai’s most popular signature restaurant KAYTO and Michelin Guide listed Rockfish. Overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations, Igor’s extensive background further underpins the exceptional service that Jumeirah Al Naseem is renowned for.

He has over 20 years of experience in luxury hotels, including 17 years of Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond properties at Mandarin Oriental in the US, Europe and Asia. With a successful career in the hospitality industry, he gained extensive knowledge across the industry and developed a strong interest in culinary excellence, working with renowned chefs in Michelin-starred restaurants.

Rodolphe Pialat has been promoted to hotel manager of the palatial Arabian Nights hotel Jumeirah Al Qasr and Madinat Jumeirah’s most intimate hotel, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf. His appointment follows his successful four-year tenure as the hotel’s food and beverage director, where he was instrumental in driving guest satisfaction and revenue.

In his new role, Rodolphe will lead the iconic luxury hotel’s continued pursuit of excellence. Prior to joining Jumeirah Group, Rodolphe spent seven years at Four Seasons Resorts in Seychelles, Canada and the United States, and worked for luxury hotel groups such as The Dorchester Collection, Park Hyatt and George V in Paris.

Peter Roth, Regional Vice President, Madinat Jumeirah, commented: “Each of these appointments brings extensive luxury hospitality experience gained in a variety of markets across three continents. I am confident they will drive their teams to innovate, And curate the extraordinary guest moments that Madinat Jumeirah is renowned for.”

These appointments follow a series of recent enhancements to the Madinat Jumeirah resort, including redesigned Malakiya villas, fully refurbished guest rooms, suites, ballrooms and Jumeirah Mina A’Salam Club Lounge, as well as the recently launched Beach club destination Summersalt by Kayto and modern era speakeasy, Blind Tiger. – trade arab news agency
