Maya Vander took a “cautious” approach during her latest pregnancy.
The “Sunset” star gave birth to daughter Emma in May – but after a “public” miscarriage at 38 weeks in late 2021, Maya took extra care during her latest pregnancy.
The reality star – who also has Elle, 3, and Aiden, 4 – told PEOPLE: “This pregnancy especially because I lost it late last year and it’s a bit much – I wouldn’t call it Anxious because I’m a pretty relaxed person – I’m just more cautious and worried because I’ve learned that no matter how far you go, even when things go the way they should, you can lose a baby. “
Maya actually received “more” monitoring during her latest pregnancy.
“I did everything I could and the doctors did everything they could to make sure we didn’t have any more problems,” she said. “It helped, more tests and all that.”
Maya announced the arrival of her baby girl on social media.
The TV star also admitted she has made a concerted effort to make the pregnancy “as quiet as possible” after her last heartbreak.
She wrote on Instagram in May: “Welcome to the world Emma Reign! My rainbow baby! It’s been a long 9 months as I try to keep as quiet as possible on social media. (sic)”
Maya added that she couldn’t find the words to express her “relief and happiness” after giving birth to Emma.
She said on social media: “I had my baby a few days ago and words cannot express my relief and happiness! (sic)”
