The 2023 awards show, hosted by Chelsea Handler, will air live on The CW from the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles beginning Sunday, January 15 at 7 p.m. ET and according to local listings PT.

It was followed by Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans,” with 11 nods. “Babylon” and “The Banshees of Inisherin” each tied for nine. Meanwhile, “Abbott Elementary” leads the TV category with six nominations, followed by “Better Call Saul” with five nominations. “Gaslight,” “Keeping Dogs” and “Guild Wars” each received four nominations.

The final round of voting for the Critics’ Choice Awards begins January 6 and runs through January 13. Presented annually by the CCA, the award recognizes the best achievement in film and television. Historically, they’ve been one of the most accurate predictors of Academy Award nominations.
Executives from Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment produced the awards show. The CCA is represented by Dan Black of Greenberg Traurig.
