United Arab Emirates: lifestyle hotel company Ennismore has announced that Mondrian’s Abu Dhabi store will open next year, the brand’s first in the UAE.
Located in the city center along the city’s canals, Mondrian Abu Dhabi will offer 80 serviced apartments and 221 guest rooms, six food and beverage outlets, a ballroom, four meeting rooms, a spa, swimming pool and fitness area, and a kids club and retail space.
The project was developed in collaboration with Al Hazoom Group. Interior design will be led by Tristan Du Plessis.
The Chairman of the Al Hazoom Group said: “We are extremely proud and excited to have agreed with Ennismore to launch the first Mondrian Hotel in the United Arab Emirates. Than contribute our unique architecture to a thriving cultural landscape.

Upon opening, the new Mondrian will join Ennismore’s portfolio in the UAE, which currently includes SLS Dubai, Hyde Dubai and 25hours Hotel One Central. SO/Uptown Dubai is scheduled to open later this year.
In 2023, Ennismore plans to open 30 hotels worldwide, including Delano House (Paris France); mother shelter(Rennes, France); 21C Museum Hotel St. Louis (USA); Bangkok Tribe (Thailand); Mondrian Singapore (Singapore); The Hoxton (Charlottenburg, Germany) and Mondrian and Hyde (Ibiza, Spain) .
