Monopoly World Champion Shares Advice for Players to Win the Game

Nicolò Falcone, a lawyer from Venice, Italy, holds the current title.

While he says pros know all the tricks and tricks of the game, so there’s a certain element of luck to winning, he has some great advice to share for those who only play board games occasionally at Christmas.

For those who have played the game with family and friends, this can be laborious and take hours to complete.

But it took only 47 minutes for Nicolo to win the title.

“That’s not because I’m the Maradona of monopoly,” he said. “But because I know the rules. It’s not supposed to be a five-hour game.”

Since becoming Monopoly World Champion, many doors have been opened for Nicolò.

He began to explore his passion for stand-up comedy and created a routine based on his experiences in competitive Monopoly.

He also started working with Comedy Central.

The competition is held every four to six years, but the 2021 competition has been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Competitors are now waiting for the next date to be confirmed, but Niccolò said: “When the time comes, I hope to win again. No one has won the title twice.”
