Naseem VP to go to UAE for World Government Summit 2023

Vice President Faisal Nassim has left for an official visit to the Middle East.

On Sunday, Vice President Naseem departed for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for an official visit.

His visit, aimed at the World Government Summit 2023, comes at the official invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

This year’s World Government Summit, scheduled for February 13-15, will focus on shaping a better future for humanity and will highlight six themes.

The summit will bring together world leaders, global experts and policymakers to exchange ideas and contribute to the development of policies and models that will prove critical to defining the future of government.

As part of the visit, Vice President Naseem is scheduled to speak at the Future of Work Forum.

In addition, he will also attend the launching ceremony of the “Maldives Leadership Program”.

The Maldives Leadership Program is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2022 between the Maldives government and the UAE government.

Vice President Naseem will return home after his visit on February 16.
