We never really understood the phrase “you can’t have your cake and eat it too.” It doesn’t make much sense. Cake is not a ceremonial prop, literally the only reason to have it is to eat it. Saying you can eat but can’t, feels like unreasonable savage torture.
However, the phrase did start to make more sense when we started having brunch with the kids. So many semi-finished mini cheesecakes.
There’s a solution, though, and culinary event masters – Family Brunch have cracked the code on entertaining the whole family on weekends, resulting in award-winning formats such as Bacchanal’s Family Festival Brunch, Caesars Palace Bluewater Dubai and Into Dubai Jungle Brunch at the Giardino at Palazzo Versace.
Starting Saturday, January 21 (and every following Saturday), with prices starting from Dhs350 for adults (Dhs150 for children aged 4 to 12), their latest project is the ‘obsessed, the ultimate family brunch experience at Vendôme, Emirate’s Palace in Abu Dhabi. We’re wildly guessing it might be charm Theme, a movie that seems to be popular with its target audience (which is why we went with a slightly off-piste title and sales mix).
The Enchanted Brunch joins the food court at Emirates Palace at a very exciting time for the hotel. Two of their restaurants were recently awarded Michelin stars in the inaugural Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2023.
family fun, amazing
Magicians succeed by convincing you to pay attention to your left hand, when the right hand actually does all the work. distracted. The same trick goes for brunch with little ones. You need to serve them long enough for your own hands to be busy choosing the cake and eating it.
