(Red Bank, NJ) — Scott Bradley’s Postmodern Jukebox Come to the Count Basie Center for the Arts on Thursday, December 15th with a very postmodern Christmas. Part celebration of vintage music and culture, part “Singer’s ‘Saturday Night Live’,” the Postmodern Jukebox Show is an unforgettable journey back in time, making pop history in your own hometown. Admission is at 7:00pm and screenings are at 8:00pm.

When New York City pianist Scott Bradlee created a postmodern jukebox in a Queens basement in 2011, his goal was simple: to reshape today’s hits as yesterday’s The legendary classic sound. Miley Cyrus became The Platters. Bruno Mars becomes Frank Sinatra. The Spice Girls became the Andrews sisters. Guns ‘n’ Roses became Bessie Smith.

Now, nearly a decade later, the postmodern jukebox has blossomed into a pop culture mainstay in its own right, playing thousands of shows on six continents—including Radio City Music Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. and other famous venues. Along the way, PMJ introduces audiences to many of the world’s greatest singers, dancers and instrumentalists — many of whom became stars in their own right.
