Oswego Announces Entertainment Lineup for Venue 1012 – Shaw Local

Site 1012, Oswego’s Own outdoor arts and entertainment amphitheater that will host a second full family entertainment.

Location 1012, located at 1012 Station Drive on the westernmost side of the Village, will host 14 ticketed and free events in Summer 2023, offering opportunities for all ages to sing, dance, drink, dine and relax with family and friends in their very own backyard in the Village segment of people.

In addition to food trucks serving local delicacies, wine and beer are also available for purchase at select events. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax as they celebrate the long summer nights.

“Get ready to celebrate the season with plenty of entertainment options for all ages,” said Mayor Troy Parlier. “Venue 1012 is a great place to gather with family and friends. This year’s lineup includes music, movies and fun for everyone.”

The 2023 season features weekend concerts, free Thursday night concerts and movies under the stars. Top-notch regional acts will be on select Saturdays at affordable ticket prices.

Free concerts on Thursday nights featuring music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2K and today’s hits. Movies Under the Stars returns with three free family-friendly movies and games, including bags and a giant Connect Four.

Wine Off the Fox is returning for a two-day Labor Day weekend, once again raising money for breast cancer support organizations.

The season kicks off on Memorial Day Weekend with Country Carnival on May 27 and Springbrook’s Oswego Pop Orchestra on May 28 with piper David Johnston. A free concert featuring patriotic music honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. Weekend concerts:

Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 27: Country Bash: Oswego Honors Veterans: Headliner Whiskeyfist with Alika Arlynn Band and Tim Gleason Band. Venue opens at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $20 for ages 13 and up; free for active military/veterans; free for ages 12 and under.

Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday, May 28: Free Concert – Honoring Veterans: Springbrook’s Oswego Pops Ensemble with piper David Johnston.Venue opens at 2:30pm

Saturday 10 June: SEMPLE Band with Fletcher Rockwell. Contains multiple eras of iconic tunes from The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and original music from both bands. The venue opens at 3:30pm, admission is $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for active military/veterans, free for ages 12 and under.

Saturday, July 15: Boy Band Review. Featuring ’90s hits from NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys, and the Jonas Brothers. The venue opens at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for active military/veterans, and free for ages 12 and under.

Saturday, August 5: Southern Accents, Tom Petty Tribute Band tour from Nashville. Recreate the greatest hits from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. The venue opens at 6 p.m. Admission is $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for active military/veterans, free for ages 12 and under.

Labor Day Weekend, September 1st & 2nd: Wine Off the Fox and Benefit Concerts. Friday 1st September – Wine Tasting and Live Music at The PriSSillas. Venue opens Saturday 2 September at 5pm – wine tasting and live music with Serendipity and Jersey Girls.Opens at 3pm

Free Thursday Night Concerts: Free concerts on select Thursdays featuring 2K music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and today.Venue opens at 6pm, music starts at 7pm

  • On June 1st, Sealed with a Kiss (SWAK), a pop rock cover band;
  • Petty Cash, a duet single featuring Johnny Cash and Tom Petty on June 29;
  • Hillbilly Rockstarz, Countryside, July 6;
  • July 27, The GooRoos, featuring the decades-old ensemble of Journey, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Queen and Led Zeppelin;
  • Secondhand News, August 17th, Fleetwood Mac Tribute.

Movies Under the Stars: Free movies on select Thursdays plus family events and giveaways. The venue opens at 6pm and the movie begins at dusk.

  • Puss in Boots August 10th
