Prime Minister and UAE President reaffirm to further enrich Pakistan-UAE special bilateral relationship
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — On Tuesday, Prime Minister Mohammad Shebaz Sharif and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed their shared commitment to further expand and enrich Pakistan’s A commitment to special bilateral relations between the UAE.
During the phone conversation, the Prime Minister thanked the UAE President for his financial and material support to Pakistan following the devastation caused by the recent climate-induced floods in Pakistan, said a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office Media Department.
The Prime Minister briefed him on the upcoming “International
Conference on Resilient Pakistan to be held in Geneva on January 9 and seeks his support for high-level UAE engagement.
President Sheikh Mohammed expressed the UAE’s wholehearted support for the initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s climate resilience, which was the main agenda of the meeting.
The Prime Minister also reiterated the invitation to the UAE President to visit Pakistan.
“Pakistan and the UAE have enjoyed a close brotherly relationship over the past five years that is firmly rooted in shared beliefs, shared values and culture. The UAE is Pakistan’s largest trading partner and major source of investment in the Middle East,” The statement further added.
