Millions of people from across the country are supporting Red Nose Day’s 2023 campaign, helping to drive a powerful movement for change and showcasing even small things – like buying red nose – can have a big impact. Americans of all ages, from all walks of life, wore red noses, celebrating the event’s annual tradition of coming together to have fun, raise funds and make a difference in the lives of children in underserved communities. They also donate generously, fundraising at home, in the office and in the classroom, and support the cause on social media.

The total amount of funds raised in 2023 will continue to grow through additional fundraisers and events throughout the remainder of the year. Essential programs supported by Red Nose Day have positively impacted the lives of more than 32 million children and their families by providing healthcare, food, shelter, education and more.
The campaign’s signature red nose is available at Walgreens and Duane Rhett locations across the country $ 1 Everyone, and millions of customers, are also donating in stores via a PIN pad at checkout. Over 29 vendors participated as proud supporters with their various brands of in-store merchandise. The store and distribution center teams held fundraising contests, and all fundraising winners received Red Nose Day grants to local grantee partners in their communities. Comic Relief US works with grantee partners to raise awareness of the impact of Red Nose Day by creating custom video content to capture the incredible work that happens every day with donor support. Walgreens significantly amplifies the storytelling message through Walgreens’ newsroom and social channels.
For the ninth year in a row, NBC supports the campaign with network mentions of shows such as “The Voice,” “Hot Wheels: The Ultimate Challenge,” “Today,” “Access Hollywood,” and “E!”. information. ‘ ‘late night with Seth Meyers’ Support was shown on social media, and a Red Nose Day episode of “The Wall” aired online. Funds raised by Red Nose Day allow Comic Relief America to have an even greater impact in breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty and ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive. They recently expanded their commitment to domestic health equity to include investing in Black, Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQ+ and community-led organizations that are developing solutions to address nutrition and food security, access to health care, and how to build and sustain Healthy community issues.
