RTA’s revenue through digital platforms will reach Dh2.6 billion in 2020 – Dubai Blog

Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General of Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Chairman of the Executive Board, revealed that the total RTA revenue collected through digital channels (electronic payment portals and smart kiosks) amounts to 2 dirhams. 655 billion in 2020. Al Tayer also said that RTA’s transaction digitization rate exceeded 91%, and the customer happiness index reached 96.2%. He also added that compared to 2019, RTA’s digital drive will help reduce the number of transactions processed in the Customer Wellbeing Center by 64.5% in 2020.

“As part of its digital strategy for 2020-2024, RTA is currently updating and following up the implementation of 111 projects. It plans to launch a future technology roadmap in the last quarter of this year, and implement a fifth-generation technology roadmap in the second quarter of next year. The number of smart screens installed by RTA reached 970 screens,” Al Tayer explained in detail.
