UAE developer Select Group has awarded construction contracts worth more than AED3 billion (US$816 million) to China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East), Engineering Contracting Company (ECC Group), iBUILD Construction and Al Basti and Muktha (ABM) , to build the Six Senses Residences Dubai Palm Jumeirah project.
Six Senses residential development spans more than 1.2 million square feet and includes penthouses, duplex penthouses and nine iconic beachfront villas, in addition to Six Senses Hotel and Six Senses Plaza, and 60,000 square feet of premium health and leisure facilities.
The construction of the Six Senses Residences project at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai is progressing smoothly. The excavation work has been completed and the support work is in progress and is expected to be completed next year.
Select Group said it had successfully awarded construction contracts for each of its recently launched projects to ensure “timely completion of its quality product”, following a record year for development launches and sales.
On awarding the new contract, Chief Executive Officer and Founder Rahail Aslam said: “Ultra-luxury projects like Six Senses Palm Jumeirah Dubai bring together great minds. By finding first-class partners such as architects and interior designers, this The project came to fruition, we are delighted to be working with iBUILD Construction and look forward to exceeding the expectations of buyers and investors.”
Under the agreement, iBUILD Construction will be responsible for the delivery of Six Senses Residences, Palm Jumeirah, one of the last available plots in West Crescent, Palm Jumeirah.
iBUILD, part of Innovo Holding, is known for delivering iconic projects such as Marsa Al Arab, Coca-Cola Arena, Etihad Museum and other landmarks through its management and construction teams.
The Dubai developer said ABM will be at the forefront of delivering Peninsula Five, The Signature Collection and the development’s flagship Jumeirah Living Business Bay, a branded residential design by Killa Design, the mastermind behind the museum of the future.
Earlier this year, China State Construction Engineering Corporation won the development projects of Peninsula One and Peninsula Two, and more recently, ECC Group successfully bid for the development of Peninsula Three.

Aslam noted that Select Group has awarded contracts for the various towers in the waterfront community and that work is underway, with the main community scheduled for completion in 2026.
