Shakira’s ex-partner Gerard Pique is reportedly facing some issues in winning the trust of new girlfriend Clara Chiamatti’s family.
The 24-year-old PR student’s parents do not trust the 36-year-old ex-Barcelona player because of his repeated cheating scandals, a source close to the matter said.

Another reason they don’t like or trust an athlete is his age. They think Clara is too young to date someone in their 30s.
On top of that, they disagreed with Gerrard over his custody agreement with Shakira, which required him to spend 10 days a month in Miami with his sons Sasha and Milam.
Not only her parents, but Clara, who has been somewhat hesitant about the deal, has been vocal with Gerald on the matter.
Journalist Jody Martin, who claims to be an expert on Shakira and Gerrard’s life, claims Clara told the sports star after signing Shakira’s deal, “You’re going to have to live with it for the rest of your life.”
Clara’s parents have also expressed their concern that Gerrard has only seen them twice, despite the two having been dating for almost a year.
“Clara has been to Pique’s parents’ house countless times, but since Christmas, how many times has Pique been to Clara’s house? Up to two days,” an insider revealed their concerns.
Gerard and Shakira announced their split last year amid rumors that the footballer and Clara were cheating on the Colombian singer.
Gerrard appeared to confirm the rumors by taking on a relationship with Clara after they split after their 12-year relationship ended.
