Recently, Sadguru Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami, the global convener of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, the organization overseeing the temple’s construction, conducted a symbolic ceremony where flower petals were showered over the temple’s seven spires. This ritual was performed in collaboration with Pujya Brahmaviharidas Swami, the head of the BAPS Hindu Mandir, who joined Ishwarcharan Swami in ascending within a crane-lifted platform to bless each spire, with each one representing a distinct emirate of the UAE.

Ishwarcharan Swami expressed his awe, stating, “It looks incredible and magnificent from above.”

Temple Complex on 27 Acres Off Dubai-Abu Dhabi Highway
Brahmaviharidas Swami elaborated on the temple’s construction, explaining that it is crafted from pink sandstones and white marble, sprawled across 27 acres of land in Abu Mureikha, just off the Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway. The entire complex, including parking facilities and the primary pinnacle with smaller counterparts, presents an astonishing sight, as described by Ishwarcharan Swami.

The artisans’ monumental work adorns the temple with depictions of key moments from Indian mythological epics like the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and various narratives from Hindu scriptures. Ishwarcharan Swami reviewed the ongoing construction progress and praised the selfless dedication of all involved in making this intricately hand-carved temple a reality.

Minister Pradhan Highlights Cultural Legacy and Global Harmony
During his visit, Dharmendra Pradhan, India’s Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, placed a brick in the temple and referred to it as a legacy of Indian civilization that will foster global peace and harmony. He emphasized that the temple represents the modernity and timelessness of Indian civilization, which, in turn, will contribute to global harmony, peace, and well-being.

Temple Set to Last Over a Thousand Years
The temple, lauded as a ‘spiritual oasis for global harmony,’ is expected to endure for over a thousand years.
