UAE: 8 digital powers of attorney now available in 10 minutes

Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Justice earlier launched an online power of attorney issuance service on its website and now offers eight types of power of attorney.

These include attorney representation and digital powers of attorney in every area of ​​legal cases, real estate, rental disputes, licensing, vehicles, stock and corporate administration.

The move also supports the UAE government’s paperless strategy, saving time and resources and ensuring fast and accessible electronic services to the community.

Using the system, clients can generate a digitally approved power of attorney document at home in less than 10 minutes without having to go to a notary. They can securely store documents using blockchain systems and digital wallets and share them securely with third parties and authorities.

Available in Arabic and English, the platform utilizes technological solutions to ensure data integrity and prevent fraud and tampering. It also enables notaries and clients to view and follow up on applications and monitor performance levels, providing a streamlined platform for completing transactions.
