The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority announced on Sunday the partial closure of a major road in Khor Fakkan for maintenance works.
Authorities warned that the partial closure of Khor Fakkan Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Street would affect traffic.
Authorities urged the public on Twitter to use alternative roads and follow traffic signs to avoid traffic jams.
Dubai traffic delayed until July 23
Motorists may encounter slow-moving traffic on Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road at the intersection of Al Ghubaiba Street and Al Mina Street.
Drivers were advised to follow directional signs and use alternative routes, including Kuwait’s Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah or Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Streets, the authority added.
