Dhaka [Bangladesh]July 9 (ANI): Six more people died from dengue fever in the 24 hours to Sunday morning, bringing the toll of mosquito-borne diseases in Bangladesh to 73 this year, Dhaka Tribune reported.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), another 836 patients were hospitalized with viral fever during the period, Dhaka Tribune reported.
Of all the patients, 516 were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka while the rest were treated in hospitals outside Dhaka, according to DGHS.
A total of 2,750 dengue patients, including 1,968 in the capital, are currently being treated in different hospitals across the country, Dhaka Tribune reported.

The DGHS has so far recorded 12,954 dengue cases and 10,131 have recovered this year.
