
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the A reshuffle of the federal cabinet, including new ministers and senior officials, reporting to the new national body Wow.
Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui has been appointed as the UAE’s Minister of Community Development. He was previously the UAE’s UNESCO representative.
Maryam Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet, was appointed Minister of State, along with Hessa Buhumaid and Noura Al Kaabi.
On her appointment, Sheikh Mohammed said: “Mariam has done an outstanding job in leading the follow-up to all new development government legislation in the UAE Cabinet. We can expect much more from her in the future.”
“We express our gratitude and appreciation for the sincere efforts of Hessa Bu Hamid and Noura Al Kaabi, who will be assigned new responsibilities,” he added.
Meanwhile, in a major move, Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, has reportedly been given the additional role of Director-General in the Prime Minister’s Office Wow.
Abdullah Nasser Lootah has been appointed chairman of the Competitiveness Commission and is responsible for the government knowledge exchange document.
The UAE Prime Minister wished the new ministers every success in their work, saying: “We are always optimistic about the best future for the UAE.”
