UAE Business: Breakbulk focuses on women and youth: Attendance up 94%

Breakbulk Middle East (BBME) 2023 saw a 94% increase in attendance as the conference concluded with a pledge to promote women’s participation in the industry and focus more on engaging young people.

Sponsored by the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the 2023 show attracted 6,496 visitors, including project owners and industry professionals from across the MENA region in freight forwarding, logistics solutions, EPC, ports , docks and heavy transport ships.

BBME 2023 provides the perfect platform for networking, learning and exploring new business opportunities for the project trucking and breakbulk industry in the region.

The event provides industry players with the latest solutions, technologies and services in the industry, as well as insights into market trends and best practices. The event features an extensive conference program where experts, industry leaders and stakeholders discuss the bright future of the industry in the region, as well as opportunities to expand into new markets.

Promote industry progress

Eng Hessa Al Malek, Adviser to the Minister of Maritime Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, said: “It is vital that we drive the discussion on sustainable development in the MENA region and the world at large, and BBME 2023 has successfully provided the perfect platform for dialogue.
