Alongside the joint statement, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmy, to discuss the latest developments in the region.
Diplomatic sources say such coordination between Gulf and wider Arab states has increased in recent months as the situation in Gaza continues to draw international attention.
The UAE has repeatedly called for a ceasefire and unrestricted humanitarian access to Gaza throughout the ongoing conflict, positioning itself as an active voice in regional diplomacy.
