UAE Fuel Prices October 2026: New Petrol and Diesel Rates

UAE Fuel Prices October 2026: What Motorists Will Pay This Month

UAE Fuel Prices October 2026 have increased across all petrol and diesel categories, meaning motorists will pay more at fuel stations throughout the month.

The UAE Fuel Price Committee approved the new rates on September 30. The prices came into effect on October 1 and will apply throughout October. The monthly pricing system reflects movements in global energy markets and local market conditions.

Fuel TypeOctober 2026September 2026Increase
Super 98Dh4.40/litreDh3.80/litreDh0.60
Special 95Dh4.28/litreDh3.69/litreDh0.59
E-Plus 91Dh4.21/litreDh3.61/litreDh0.60
DieselDh4.80/litreDh4.30/litreDh0.50

Super 98 has risen by around 15.8%, while Special 95 is up about 16%. E-Plus 91 has increased by approximately 16.6%. Diesel has climbed around 11.6% compared with September.

How Much Will a Full Tank Cost?

The higher rates will have a noticeable effect on drivers who refuel frequently. For a 50-litre tank, the October cost works out to:

  • Super 98: Dh220
  • Special 95: Dh214
  • E-Plus 91: Dh210.50
  • Diesel: Dh240

For comparison, a 50-litre Super 98 fill-up cost Dh190 in September. This means the same tank now costs Dh30 more. The increase is also significant for larger vehicles. A 60-litre tank of Super 98 will cost Dh264, while a 60-litre tank of Special 95 will cost Dh256.80.

Why Did UAE Fuel Prices Rise?

The UAE reviews fuel prices every month using a pricing mechanism linked to global energy market movements. The latest rates follow increases seen in August and September after prices moved lower in July.

The October rates apply across the UAE, so motorists in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates will see the same official prices for each fuel grade.

Drivers can therefore expect higher monthly fuel expenses, particularly if they have long daily commutes or regularly travel between emirates.
