UAE to Host 1,000 Palestinian Children for Medical Care in Response to Gaza Crisis

In a swift humanitarian response to the ongoing Gaza crisis, the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued a directive to bring a thousand Palestinian children to the UAE for vital medical treatment. This significant announcement followed a phone call between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mirjana Spoljaric, the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

This compassionate initiative is a testament to the UAE’s unwavering commitment to providing essential relief to the Palestinian people, with a particular focus on children, who are currently enduring dire humanitarian conditions. The call between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Spoljaric also emphasized the critical importance of ensuring the safe, unhindered, and sustained delivery of humanitarian aid and medical assistance to the civilian population in Gaza.
