The UAE Cyber ​​Security Council has warned all public and private institutions and individuals of the risk of cyber-attacks, especially during New Year celebrations and holidays.

The committee emphasized the need for all departments and agencies to activate cyber defense systems, increase personal security awareness of cyber attacks, and cooperate with relevant departments to proactively share relevant information.

It also noted that hacking tools are now easier to use, allowing hackers to take advantage of the holiday season, especially as reliance on digital services grows.

The committee warned of various types of cyber-attacks targeting vital sectors, stressing the importance of adopting cybersecurity policies and protective mechanisms, as well as raising awareness of public and private institutions and individuals, which will play a key role in protecting the community from malicious attacks Network attacks.

The committee then noted that many countries were witnessing a rapid digital transformation of services and everyday transactions, which increased the risks posed by cyberattacks to various sectors including electricity, gas and water.
