His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has directed the Sharjah Housing scheme.

Partnering with the Sharjah Debt Resolution Committee (SDSC) to address the challenges faced by citizens working outside the Government of Sharjah with salaries exceeding AED 25,000. These people currently have a payroll deduction rate of more than 50 percent.

The aim is to meet their housing needs by ensuring that their requests are processed in a timely manner so that they can receive housing assistance and build their own homes.

The directive was announced by Dr. Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Head of Sharjah Housing Programme, on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s ‘Direct Line’ programme.
