H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency, said the UAE supports all efforts to promote stability and peace in the region.

Speaking at the 32nd Arab League summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Mansour emphasized that the best way to ensure development and prosperity in the Arab region is through cooperation.

He also extended his hospitality to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia Thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and the excellent preparation for the summit.

He then expressed his appreciation for the work done by Algeria as Chair of previous Arab summits and by the General Secretariat of the Arab League in preparation for the summit.

Sheikh Mansour said that despite the challenges facing the region, some hopeful developments could lead to the resolution of local conflicts, and affirmed the importance of building on related achievements.

He congratulated Syria on returning to the ranks of friendly countries during the summit, and hoped that Syria would overcome the current difficulties and achieve stability and prosperity.

He also called on Arab countries to take advantage of the positive developments to strengthen cooperation and build economic and development cooperation.

Sheikh Mansour called on the Sudanese people to resolve issues through dialogue and compromise to overcome the national crisis, expressing his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its role in facilitating negotiations in Sudan and helping to end the political deadlock.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed left Jeddah after attending the 32nd summit of the League of Arab States.
