The UAE National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a red and yellow alert for heavy fog on Thursday morning. In the image below, areas marked in red indicate that visibility will drop below 1000 metres.

Abu Dhabi Police issued a warning to motorists, urging them to be careful and pay attention to electronic signs on the road showing changing speed limits.

The weather today is generally sunny to partly cloudy with low clouds over the east coast in the morning. Convective clouds, bringing rain, are possible in eastern and southern parts of the country.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will rise to 42°C and 41°C respectively. They will drop to 32°C and 33°C respectively.

During the day, light to moderate winds can cause dust. Light to moderate swells are sometimes seen in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate swells are sometimes seen in the Sea of ​​Oman.
