UAE Motocross champion and Red Bull athlete Mohammed Balooshi is competing in the Dubai International Baja, marking the season finale of the 2022 FIA Motocross Baja World Cup and 2022 FIM BAJAS World Cup, aiming to close out the race notes with victory.

The winner of the participating categories will be decided at a final in Dubai, with the UAE champion hoping to dominate his category in his home country.
Balooshi leads the tournament by one point over his two competitors, Fabio Magalhaes of Portugal and Konrad Dabrowski of Poland.
Balooshi said motorcycling “has undergone a major adjustment” since the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, the International Motorcycle Federation called for a number of different Baja rounds in Europe and the Middle East, but that has now changed and the winners of the last two rounds have been chosen. Balooshi owns the MX Academy, the largest motocross and enduro school in the region, and is a multiple MX Middle East Champion.
