Saudi Arabia Makes Repeat Pilgrimages Easier To Plan
Saudi Arabia has rolled out a new Umrah visa multiple entry option, making it easier for pilgrims to visit throughout the year. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a multiple-entry visa allowing holders to enter Saudi Arabia several times during its 365-day validity period from the date of issuance.
The new visa offers a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days across all visits, meaning the days are shared across the full year rather than reset with each trip.
For every visit, pilgrims must purchase a service package from an approved provider through the Nusuk platform and obtain a fresh Umrah permit before travelling.
The Umrah visa multiple entry scheme does not apply during the Hajj season and is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals to simplify pilgrim travel. Officials say the change removes the hassle of reapplying for a new visa before every trip, a common complaint among frequent visitors.
For UAE residents planning regular Umrah visits, this update could mean smoother planning and fewer repeat applications throughout the year.
